Founded on a vision for a cleaner planet.

Dr. Ann Adkins holds a doctorate in biology with a specialization in environmental protection. Her career has been devoted to understanding how human activity affects the natural world — and finding practical ways to reduce that impact.

It was through her vision that Clean Energy Here Foundation was created: a simple, powerful idea that nonprofits shouldn't have to choose between serving their communities and caring for the planet.

By funding LED lighting upgrades for hospitals, schools and charities, Dr. Adkins is helping organizations cut their energy use, lower their utility bills and reduce their carbon footprint — one building at a time.
